Job summary

Carbon is seeking an experienced Financial Planning, Performance & Analysis (FP&A) Manager to drive budgeting, forecasting and cashflow across a portfolio of capital projects in the renewable energy sector. The role partners with finance and operations to deliver insightful reporting and strategic decision support.

The role focuses on improving planning processes, delivering timely management packs, and leading enhancements to FP&A tools and methods within a hybrid Central Belt, Scotland

Qualifications

• Extensive FP&A, financial management, or corporate finance experience.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting capabilities.
• Experience with cashflow forecasting, CapEx planning, and financing activities.
• Advanced Excel skills and financial/cashflow modeling.
• Experience with consolidations across multiple projects or portfolios.
• Experience partnering with senior stakeholders and governance forums.

Responsibilities

• Support budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
• Lead cashflow, CapEx, financing, and interest forecasting.
• Consolidate financial information across business areas.
• Develop cashflow forecasting models.
• Deliver performance analysis and variance reporting to leadership.
• Support Group Finance reporting and governance requirements.
• Analyze project cashflows, financing needs, and equity funding.
• Partner with operations to understand risks and opportunities.
• Prepare management reporting packs for leadership.
• Drive FP&A process improvements and standardisation.
