Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a finance professional to drive FP&A outputs for a renewable energy organisation based in Alloa, Scotland. The role focuses on budgets, forecasts, KPIs and financial modelling to support strategic decisions.

You will partner with operational and development teams, contribute to new ventures such as hydrogen and EVs, and build robust financial models for greenfield projects, acquisitions and existing sites.

Qualifications

• Strong background in accounting or finance.
• Professional qualification CA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent.
• Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Driving FP&A outputs, including budget setting, actuals to budgets, forecasts, KPIs and financial modelling.
• Working with operational managers, development managers and the head of development to control and manage budgets.
• Providing commercial input on new ventures such as hydrogen and EVs and collaborating with directors.
• Building and maintaining effective working relationships with budget holders and business leaders.
• Providing financial and commercial insight on business decisions and process improvements.
• Assisting in financial modelling for greenfield projects, acquisitions and existing sites.
• Assisting in corporate activities such as acquisitions, restructuring and setting up new legal entities.
