Beacon is a leading provider of data and workflow solutions to the global life sciences industry, with international reach. The FP&A Manager will drive budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting, while partnering with the CFO and senior leaders to enable data-driven decisions and growth.

This hybrid London-based role focuses on building robust financial models, KPI dashboards, and scenario analyses, and includes exposure to acquisitions, due diligence, and post‑acquisition performance

Qualifications

• Proven FP&A experience as a Senior Finance Manager, FP&A Manager, Commercial Finance Manager or similar.
• Strong financial modelling, analytical and presentation skills.
• Experience partnering with senior stakeholders and influencing decision making.
• Track record of improving processes, systems and reporting frameworks.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insight.
• Desirable: ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent qualification.
• Desirable: experience in data services, life sciences, healthcare tech or SaaS.

Responsibilities

• Lead the annual budget, rolling forecast and long-range planning processes.
• Develop and maintain robust financial models, scenario analyses and planning tools.
• Challenge assumptions and provide recommendations to improve forecast accuracy and business performance.
• Partner with senior executives and operational leaders to support commercial decision making.
• Provide insight into revenue trends, margins, profitability and ROI.
• Support strategic initiatives, investment appraisals and business cases.
• Partner with commercial leaders to improve revenue forecasting, pricing analysis and sales reporting.
• Prepare monthly management reporting, variance analysis and board-level commentary.
• Develop KPIs, dashboards and performance measures to enhance decision support.
• Support acquisition analysis, financial due diligence and post-acquisition performance tracking.
• Drive continuous improvement in FP&A processes, systems and reporting frameworks.
• Work with finance, analytics and systems teams to improve reporting capabilities and planning workflows.
• Evaluate and implement emerging technologies, including AI, to improve forecasting accuracy and reporting automation.
