What You'll Do

  • Manage the general accounting function: draft and implement accounting procedures; support the implementation of the accounting system.
  • Implement and execute controls; animate the monthly closing process.
  • Manage accounting laws across Nigeria, UEMOA, Ghana, etc.
  • Provide financial analysis and reports on key performance indicators for decision-making.
  • Lead and update the company’s budget; provide monthly and quarterly reports to investors.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize assets and investments.
  • Collaborate with department heads on revenue and expense projections.
  • Manage the company’s financial audit process.
  • Coordinate with external stakeholders: auditors, banks, tax authorities.
What You Bring

  • 3 to 5 years of experience managing accounting & tax structures in African countries.
  • Understanding of the African ecosystem.
  • Solid command of IFRS for SMEs.
  • Experience implementing accounting procedures in early-stage environments.
  • Design thinking mindset for problem-solving.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with team members and leadership.
  • Mastery of Microsoft Excel (Power Query), PowerPoint, and Power BI.
  • Bilingual in French and English.
