Job summary

Beauty Pie is seeking a senior FP&A professional to join the Commercial Finance & Insights team. You’ll turn complex data into actionable insights and support forecasting, budgeting, and board-level storytelling.

The role requires strong modelling skills, stakeholder engagement, and the ability to navigate a fast-growing beauty business. Hybrid working and a collaborative environment are offered.

Qualifications

• Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA or local equivalent.
• Extensive experience in a similar FP&A/finance role, ecommerce or beauty experience a plus.
• Comfort with large datasets and ability to convert data into narratives and actions.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain FP&A reporting engine with accurate, timely reporting.
• Support investor board decks with clear strategic and financial narratives.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting processes, including quarterly reforecasts and monthly updates.
• Prepare key business performance outputs leveraging financial and non-financial data.
• Collaborate with budget owners and management accounting to identify risks and opportunities.
• Assist Commercial Finance Director with scenario modelling and ad hoc analyses.
• Participate in cross-functional projects to support rapid growth.
• Drive process improvements within the commercial finance function.

So, what will you be doing?
As a key member of our Commercial Finance & Insights team, you'll play a pivotal role in turning complex data into actionable insights, ensuring we’re always ahead of the game. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, data-rich environment and is ready to make a real impact.

Job Requirements

• Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA or local equivalent
• Extensive experience in a similar role - e-commerce and/or beauty experience a plus but not required
• A data wizard with a deep understanding of tech stacks typical in fast-growing tech scaleups—fluency with tools like Google Sheets and Google Slides is a big plus.
• Someone who’s passionate about working with large, complex datasets and can simplify them into impactful narratives and actionable insights.
• Detail-oriented, with strong modelling skills and demonstrable experience of end to end financial modelling, from commercial inputs to primary statements
• Experience with SQL and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Light Dash), or eager to upskill
• A confident, collaborative communicator who can engage senior stakeholders and lead more junior team members with ease.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment, and ambition to make a difference to a business going through an exciting period of change and growth
• A self-starter who will own processes from start to finish, make improvements to them and is willing to question the status quo

Job Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the FP&A reporting engine in terms of optimising reporting workflows and accurate and timely reporting.
• Support the preparation of investor board decks, delivering clear and compelling strategic and financial narratives.
• Support the budgeting & forecasting process, including the annual budget (P&L and cash flow), quarterly re-forecasts, and monthly revenue updates.
• Support the preparation of key business performance review outputs, leveraging both financial and non-financial data to identify the key drivers of performance.
• Partner with budget owners and the management accounting team to proactively identify risks & opportunities, and alert on any material business risks and opportunities.
• Support the Commercial Finance Director with scenario modelling, ad hoc analysis and reporting.
• Participate in cross-functional projects to support the development of our fast-growing business.
• With a keen-eye for process improvements, autonomously drive efficiencies and process upgrades within the commercial finance function
