Job summary

In2 Consult is seeking a Head of FP&A in London to build a greenfield FP&A function within a private tech business turning over over £30m. You will own budgeting, forecasting and the data backbone, partnering with the C-suite to drive commercial decisions.

This role is hybrid with time in the London office and a clear path to leadership. You should bring hands-on FP&A experience in startups or scale-ups, exposure to manufacturing/hardware, and a drive to modernise systems using automation and

Qualifications

• Hands-on FP&A experience in a startup or scale-up.
• Exposure to manufacturing or hardware businesses.
• Strong commercial instincts and ability to influence non-finance stakeholders.
• Systems curiosity: look for better ways to use tools, data and automation.

Responsibilities

• Build the FP&A function from scratch, including the planning model, reporting and core dataset.
• Shape the systems roadmap, including planning tools, automation and AI.
• Own budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis across short-term and long-range horizons.
• Partner with department heads and the C-suite to turn numbers into commercial decisions.
• Lead finance projects as the business scales, acting as the right hand to the finance lead.
• Grow into team leadership as the function develops.
