Job summary

Finatal London is seeking an experienced FP&A Lead to support exponential growth in a fast-scaling PE-backed SaaS business. You will own budgeting, forecasting, and management accounts, working closely with the CFO and leadership team.

You will build robust financial models, develop KPIs, and partner with operations to drive performance across site networks. The role also supports due diligence, fundraising, and investor updates, with a strong focus on data quality and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with post-qualification FP&A or commercial finance experience.
• Experience in professional services-based business, ideally PE-backed.
• End-to-end budgeting, forecasting and management accounts in fast-scaling firms.
• Advanced financial modelling turning data into actionable insight.
• Experience supporting PE reporting including covenant reporting and KPI packs.
• Proven track record in enhancing finance systems, processes and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end budgeting and forecasting across all sites with visibility to CFO and leadership.
• Produce monthly management accounts, board packs and investor reporting with variance analysis.
• Build robust financial models for planning, scenario analysis and capital allocation.
• Develop and maintain KPIs with site-level reporting.
• Partner with operational and commercial leaders across the site network.
• Support PE reporting, covenant reporting, quarterly investor updates and ad hoc queries.
• Drive continuous improvement across financial processes, systems and data quality.
• Support long-range planning, unit economics and cohort analysis for strategic decisions.
• Assist due diligence, fundraising and exit-readiness activities.

The Role

Finatal is partnering with an expanding Private Equity backed SaaS business who is searching for an experienced FP&A Lead to support its exponential growth. Having experienced 4x growth in the last 5 years the company is looking to expand their finance function and bring in an ambitious FP&A Lead who is able to further this organic growth and inorganic growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end budgeting and forecasting process across all sites, providing clear visibility on growth trajectory to the CFO, leadership team, and PE sponsor.
• Produce monthly management accounts, board packs, and investor reporting, including detailed variance analysis on key performance drivers.
• Build and maintain robust financial models to support business planning, scenario analysis, and capital allocation decisions.
• Develop and maintain KPIs alongside site-level reporting.
• Act as a trusted business partner to operational and commercial leaders across the site network.
• Support the PE reporting cycle, including covenant reporting, KPI packs, quarterly investor updates, and ad hoc investor queries.
• Drive continuous improvement across financial processes, systems, and data quality.
• Support long-range planning, unit economics, and cohort analysis to inform commercial and strategic decisions.
• Support due diligence, fundraising, and exit-readiness activity.

Requirements

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with strong post-qualified experience in FP&A or commercial finance.
• Proven experience in a professional services-based business, ideally within a PE-backed environment.
• Experience owning end-to-end budgeting, forecasting, and management accounts in a fast-scaling business.
• Advanced financial modelling skills, with the ability to turn complex data into clear, actionable insight.
• Experience supporting PE reporting requirements, including covenant reporting, KPI packs, and investor queries.
• Track record of improving finance systems, processes, and reporting capability.
• A confident communicator, comfortable business partnering and presenting to senior stakeholders and PE investors.
