Location: Stockport (Hybrid Working)
Duration: 11 Month contract
Rate of Pay: £350 to £400 per day (inside IR35)

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday (flexible hybrid, 2 or 3 days office based each week)

We're looking for an experienced and driven FP&A Implementation Lead to deliver the rollout of a new FP&A system across our UK-wide operations. This is a unique opportunity to make a real impact at the heart of a complex, nationwide business.

About the Role

Based at our Shared Service Centre in Stockport, this hybrid role will see you take ownership of the financial workstreams in a high-profile systems implementation. With the project already underway, we're seeking someone who can hit the ground running—bringing structure, focus and insight to ensure a successful transition.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the financial elements of the FP&A system rollout across the UK business
  • Engage with internal finance teams to gather, validate and document requirements
  • Support the configuration of the new system and oversee user acceptance testing
  • Define and manage statements of work, timelines and deliverables
  • Work closely with the Project Manager to ensure cohesive and aligned delivery
  • Provide regular updates to senior stakeholders, highlighting risks and progress
  • Drive adoption of the new platform by supporting training and embedding new processes

What We're Looking For

  • Ideally PQ or qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with strong FP&A experience
  • Proven experience leading or playing a key role in finance systems implementations
  • Deep understanding of financial planning cycles and accounting frameworks
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong Excel capabilities; experience with Oracle or Vena is advantageous
  • Detail-oriented, highly organised and able to work well under pressure
  • A proactive, hands-on attitude—you're ready to make things happen
