The role will be responsible for assisting in all aspects of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) within UK&I Operations Finance. The scope of the FP&A team covers most Managed & Leased Hotels in the UK & Ireland. This role will focus on specific revenue and/or cost lines for these Hotels.

The role is part of a team of 7 and reports directly to the Financial Planning & Analysis Director. It involves delivering accurate performance analysis and forecasts to support business decisions.

Responsibilities include standardizing financial planning processes, creating tools, reports, and analysis centrally, and ensuring seamless integration across departments such as Accounting & Control, Hotel Operations, Revenue Management, and Commercial Finance.

What will I be doing?

  • Producing consolidated P&L reports for UK&I, ensuring forecasting accuracy to drive performance decisions.
  • Collaborating with Accounting and Control functions to ensure timely input of actual costs for comparison with forecasts.
  • Utilizing modelling and automation tools to build standard reports.
  • Developing a deep understanding of hotel revenue and cost drivers to ensure accurate forecasts and challenge assumptions.
  • Serving as a strategic business partner and financial advisor to hotel management, ownership, and corporate offices.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.
  • Complying with fire, health, and safety regulations and reporting irregularities.
  • Ensuring hotels comply with corporate policies and governmental regulations.

What are we looking for?

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in Accounting or Finance.
  • Advanced Excel skills including PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, Macros, VBA, Power Query, and scenario analysis.
  • Preferred Hotel Finance experience.
  • Ability to analyze large, complex financial data and create reports, forecasts, and projections.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and negotiation skills.
