Job summary

Univar Solutions in Widnes is seeking an FP&A Analyst with a strong commercial and analytic emphasis to join the GM Reporting Centre of Excellence.

You will maintain, analyse and report production, sales and commercial data to provide timely information and insights to help grow the business. You will have AAT/CIMA/ACCA qualifications or QBE, with advanced Excel and SAP experience preferred.

Qualifications

• AAT qualified or CIMA/ACCA studier, or someone QBE with relevant skills.
• Strong communication and numeracy with the ability to interpret data and tell the story.
• Advanced Excel is required. Any experience with SAP would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Proactively checking and maintaining primary sales and margin data.
• Address inbound margin-related queries from the business.
• Posting margin adjustments and related journals.
• Maintaining balance sheet accounts and preparing reconciliations.
• Carrying out monthly product costing runs and costing individual products as required.
• Analysing and reporting on non-COGS selling costs and identifying cost drivers.
• Providing cover for other GM CofE team members in all tasks above.
• Support for the GM Reporting Supervisor and Head of GM Reporting in other FP&A matters.
