FP&A Analyst/Finance Business Partner - Wines and Spirits

GVA Search is delighted to partner a prestigious Wine and Spirits organisation in London who is looking to recruit a Financial Business Partner to join their Commercial Finance team. Reporting directly to the Commercial Finance Director, you'll play a critical role in driving financial performance and supporting the sales teams.

As a key financial advisor, you will partner with various departments, including marketing, operations, and customer services, and ensure all financial strategies are aligned with broader business goals. Your contributions will help shape sales strategies, offer performance insights, and provide senior management with clear, actionable financial advice.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Partner with Sales Directors to drive and monitor financial performance.
  • Deliver commercial forecasts and budgets.
  • Provide strategic financial reports and insights to leadership.
  • Analyse promotional performance and assess financial risks.
  • Develop and maintain financial models for decision-making.
  • Collaborate across teams to optimise financial processes and strategies.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and manage financial risks.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
The ideal candidate will be:
  • CIMA/ACMA qualified (or equivalent) with at least 2 years of post-qualification experience.
  • Experience in FMCG or the drinks industry is highly desirable.
  • Proven track record in financial business partnering, financial planning, and analysis.
  • Advanced Excel skills, with the ability to handle large datasets and build complex financial models.
  • Strong collaborator and communicator with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Project management experience with a focus on long-term, high-value projects.
