FP&A Analyst: Aftersales Growth Finance

Job summary

SPT Labtech is recruiting an FP&A Analyst to join the Group FP&A team supporting the Aftersales business. You will partner with commercial and operations teams to understand performance and build forecasts, plus wider FP&A tasks and monthly management reporting.

This role offers real responsibility from day one, with support through ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualifications and a clear path for career development in finance at the Cambridge site.

Qualifications

• Part-qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA or working towards a qualification.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to work with non-finance colleagues.
• Strong Microsoft Excel and data analysis skills.
• Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint creating presentations.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and curiosity about drivers of numbers.

Responsibilities

• Aftersales – act as the finance partner to the Aftersales commercial and operations teams, providing insight into performance, pricing and margin.
• Weekly reporting of Aftersales order intake, revenue and KPIs.
• Contribute to weekly revenue and order intake meetings with analysis of performance and outlook.
• Report labour utilisation across the service team and highlight trends.
• Own the installed base database and monthly installed base reporting.
• Track and report service contract attach rates, renewals and warranty conversions.
• Support month-end close for service revenue in the UK.
• Forecast monthly service and consumables, linking to installed base and renewal trends.
• Plan resource capacity for the service team to match forecast demand.
• Support annual budget and long-term planning processes.
• Prepare monthly management reporting pack and explain drivers of variances.
• Present financial data and insights to management.
• Maintain data consistency across ERP and Salesforce, and seek continuous improvements.
