How do you fit in?
As part of our corporate Finance team, this Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst role is critical in delivering strategic financial insight and supporting data-driven decision-making. You’ll partner across the business to analyse performance, forecast results, and provide clear, actionable recommendations which will guide Cloud towards sustainable growth and success.
Key Responsibilities in Financial Planning, Analysis, and Reporting
- Deliver accurate and insightful financial analysis for management and stakeholder reporting.
- Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning cycles for the business or assigned business units.
- Monitor financial and operational performance against targets, identifying key variances and drivers.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop actionable commentary and recommendations based on financial data.
- Support ad hoc projects and scenario modelling to enable informed decision-making.
- Design, improve, and automate reporting tools and dashboards.
- Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and controls.
- Ensure all financial planning activities are in line with Cloud’s values of transparency and sustainability.
Skills and Experience Required for FP&A Roles
- Part-qualified, recently qualified, or qualified by experience in accounting or finance (e.g. ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent).
- Proficient in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling.
- Strong analytical capabilities with high attention to detail.
- Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with business intelligence and planning tools (e.g. Power BI, TM1, Adaptive Insights) is desirable.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to tailor messaging for different audiences.
- Ability to present complex information in a clear, engaging way.
- Collaborative approach with a can-do attitude and a focus on continuous improvement.
- Prior exposure to Facilities Management or related industries is a plus but not essential.

This is a full-time, permanent position with flexibility to work remotely. We value in-person connections and like to meet candidates face-to-face, so will be meeting suitable candidates at our Colchester, Essex office.
