FP&A Analyst

Hybrid working - Leeds, (potentially Home Based for right candidate with occasional Travel to Leeds and/or Gateshead office)

UPTO £50,000 Basic

Lookers have an exciting opportunity to join our team as an FP&A Analyst!

As an FP&A Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting strategic decision-making through insightful financial analysis, forecasting, and performance reporting. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders across the business to drive profitability and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Produce Board and Exco level outputs
  • Review and analyse Divisional performance to budget and forecasts for P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash flow on monthly basis (including Working Capital and Capex)
  • Support the Development of best practices for analysis, forecasting and the budget process
  • Analyse dealership and group-level performance to identify trends and opportunities
  • Develop new MI and KPI analysis for key stakeholders

Essential

  • Qualified (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) with experience in FP&A or commercial finance
  • Exceptional analytical and Excel modelling skills with capability to develop complex financial models (experience with Power Query, Power Pivot and Dax preferred, desire to learn essential)
  • Experience with financial systems, dashboards and reporting (i.e. Power BI)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Effective organisation and time management skills, with ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced and changing environment

Desirable

  • Experience working in a large complex business environment
  • Automotive or retail sector experience desirable but not essential
