Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst - 6mth Fixed Term Contract

Warner Hotels specializes in short UK breaks designed exclusively for adults. The portfolio includes 16 hotels, such as rural country houses, castles, coastal hideaways, and picturesque villages near some of the country’s most-loved beauty spots. This is not a standard hotel chain; Warner Hotels offers Grade I & II listed manor hotels, along with seaside villages. Every stay includes three-course evening dining with a variety of options, daytime activities, evening entertainment such as bands, vocalists, comics, West End-style shows, and late-night DJs.

As part of the Warner Finance team, you will collaborate with various departments within the financial planning & analysis team. The role involves supporting the management of the Commercial Forecast—reviewing and challenging gross tariff targets, marketing expenditure, and expected returns. Additionally, you will oversee the cost aspects of Warner’s significant capital investment projects.

What will you be doing?

You will provide analytical support to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of Budget, Forecast, and Risk & Opportunities reports across areas such as:

• Marketing
• Supporting month-end accounting for Marketing, including administration and coordination of POs/Invoices to ensure proper accounting
• Managing Marketing Prepayments
• Conducting detailed forecast reviews, liaising with marketing teams
• Providing ad hoc analytical support for data-driven decision-making

• Revenue Management
• Supporting reporting, tracking, and management of outcomes
• Reconciling guest arrival KPIs and trading information
• Liaising between Revenue Management and Operations Finance teams to ensure alignment for Budget, Forecast, and R&O loads/numbers

• Weekly Reporting
• Producing weekly arrivals reports, reconciliation, and analysis for Leadership Team reporting
• Analyzing weekly out-turns

• Monthly Reporting
• Providing commercial/trading data for month-end Board packs
• Ensuring accurate and timely arrival statistics reporting into USALI and other P&L reports
• Delivering monthly ancillary and entertainment analysis and reports

What are we looking for?

You should have an analytical mindset, effective communication skills, and the ability to multitask while meeting high standards and deadlines. A commercial outlook, experience managing large and complex data sets, and being a part-qualified accountant are essential. You should be comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
