Group FP&A Analyst

Chandlers Ford | Permanent

We're seeking to engage with a commercially minded FP&A Analyst to support group-wide reporting, insights and planning, helping drive informed decision-making at senior levels. This is a great opportunity for a qualified accountant or experienced analyst with strong modelling and reporting skills to step into a group-level role with visibility across a Group of Engineering business.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

1. Provide key weekly and monthly reporting including revenue, forecasts and KPIs for senior management.
2. Maintain and develop the Groups financial consolidation model, including monthly actuals and forecasts.
3. Support the annual planning process with consolidated reporting and analysis.
4. Prepare monthly results with commentary on key variances against plan and prior forecast.
5. Partner with business units to identify opportunities for improvement and support data-driven decisions.
6. Deliver meaningful financial insights to internal stakeholders to support commercial strategy.
7. Develop, maintain and report on new and existing KPIs, investigating variances as needed.
8. Contribute to new business case development using ROIC, IRR, and other financial metrics.
9. Take ownership of performance and capital expenditure reviews and liaise with budget owners to challenge results where necessary.
10. Support ad hoc finance projects, year-end audit activities and continuous improvement of reporting processes.

Skills & Experience Required

1. Experienced in a FP&A, Finance Analyst or Management Accounting type positions.
2. Fully/ Part qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA or qualified by experience.
3. Advanced Excel skills, comfortable with complex modelling and large datasets.
4. Familiarity with Dynamics, Navision or Power BI would be an advantage.
5. Strong commercial and financial acumen with a proactive, detail-focused mindset.
6. Ability to communicate financial insight clearly across multiple teams and senior stakeholders.
7. Curious, self-sufficient and solutions-focused, with excellent time management and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
