Job description

FP&A Accountant at National Grid: join our Group Finance team to partner with specialist managers, wider finance, and the business as an advisor and facilitator to deliver high-quality forecasts and provide useful insights and commentary each month. You’ll ensure the accuracy, integrity, and completeness of actuals, prepare insightful analysis and accompanying draft narrative of financial reports. You will also coordinate and prepare the Quarterly Rolling Forecast with Finance Business Partners, as well as key financial inputs for entity/ functional requirements.

This role will be based out of our Warwick office, and you can enjoy our hybrid working from office and home.

What You’ll Have:
  • Qualified or near Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA).
  • Strong financial planning and analysis, forecasting, reporting, and budgeting experience.
  • Capital forecasting experience.
  • Strong MS Excel skills, you can manipulate data and create visualisations.
  • Ability to build relationships across the business and influence stakeholders.
  • A self-starter with an inquisitive mindset, you like to understand the numbers.
  • Detail orientated, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exposure to SAP is desirable.

A competitive salary of up to £55,000– dependent on capability.
