FP&A Accountant

My client based in Stockport, a leader in its sector, is seeking a detail-oriented FP&A Accountant to join their high-performing Commercial Finance team.

My client, with Headquarters based in Stockport, is a leader within transport solutions and services.

As FP&A Accountant reporting to the Head of FP&A, you will:

1. Manage the end-to-end budget and reforecasting process across several business units, ensuring business unit owners deliver to clearly outlined deadlines.
2. Prepare as well as maintain budget templates.
3. Produce company-wide planning assumptions.
4. Support the Head of FP&A, Commercial FD, and CFO on bespoke scenario planning.
5. Evaluate latest projections into the long-term financial model for sharing with the company's owners.
6. Work closely with the Group Finance to ensure accurate reporting and reconciliation of financial data.

The most desirable FP&A Accountant applicant will:

1. Be a Qualified Accountant.
2. Have demonstrable experience within an FP&A function or extensive hands-on experience of budgeting & forecasting.
3. Hold excellent Excel knowledge to maintain and adapt existing models.
4. Be able to work with large datasets in Excel and summarize findings for non-Finance colleagues.
5. Be able to work from the Stockport office 2/3 days per week.

Up to £50,000 plus bonus and benefits.
