Overview

Our client, a growing SME based in Keighley, is seeking an FP&A Accountant to take the lead on commercial finance and drive data-led decision-making across the business. This newly created role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership and play a pivotal part in shaping the company's future growth. The FP&A Accountant will own the financial planning and analysis function, providing meaningful insight and commercial guidance to support strategic decision-making. The role is ideal for a finance professional who enjoys getting into the data and delivering clear, actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Leading the budgeting, forecasting, scenario planning, and performance analysis processes.
• Designing and implementing reporting dashboards and financial models to provide timely insight.
• Partnering with commercial and operational teams to evaluate opportunities, pricing, and investments.
• Delivering financial updates, models, and recommendations to the leadership team.
• Driving improvements in data quality, financial reporting, and business processes.

Qualifications & Attributes

• Qualified (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) or QBE with FP&A / commercial finance experience.
• Highly analytical and comfortable working with data, financial models, and reporting tools.
• Commercially astute, able to translate financial information into meaningful business insights.
• Experienced in working closely with senior stakeholders, with excellent communication skills.
• Adaptable and motivated to make an impact in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial SME setting.
