Purpose of Role: The Power Engineer/Rubber Liner will carry out rubber lining processes according to standard safety procedures. They will be responsible for reading blueprints and drawings to achieve accuracy with laying, lining, and applying rubber on product. This role also involves operating autoclaves to ensure the efficient curing of rubber products, including loading and unloading products onto autoclave carts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare Product: Prepare pipes, tanks, and other vessels for application of rubber lining by rolling or painting interior surfaces after the sandblasting operation has been completed.
  • Apply Rubber: Apply rubber to interior surfaces by following instructions, drawings and sketches provided.
  • Oversee Autoclaves: Operate and monitor the autoclave for the rubber curing process. Complete and maintain all records including autoclave logs, charts, material movements, and material consumption; provide reports as required.
  • Material Handling: Load, unload, and handle materials within the facility both manually and mechanically.
  • Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world-class safety culture.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

  • Basic knowledge of measuring and hand tools.
