Job summary

Enterprise Recruitment Ltd is helping an established manufacturing business recruit a Production Manager. You will inherit a well-run operation with a four-day week and Fridays off, and you will have the freedom to implement ideas and drive improvements.

Reporting to senior leadership, you will oversee day-to-day production, manage a five-person team and ensure on-time delivery to quality standards, while optimising efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or production environment.
• Experience leading production teams (supervising/managerial).
• Experience with assembly/electro-mechanical environments.
• Strong knowledge of production planning and performance metrics.
• Experience with ERP systems (MS Dynamics or similar).
• Knowledge of continuous improvement and process optimisation.
• Understanding of quality systems and ISO standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day production activities and manage a small team.
• Ensure products are delivered on time, to quality standards and efficiently.
• Collaborate with production, supply chain and engineering to maintain smooth operations.
• Lead workload planning, monitor performance and drive improvements.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and lead process initiatives.
