Job summary

Exeter-based Howmet Aerospace site is seeking Foundry Production Operatives through Acorn Recruitment. The role involves hands-on metalworking in a high-temperature foundry, with full training provided and opportunities for long-term employment.

Shift pattern is rotating, Monday to Friday, with 6:00-1:30, 1:00-8:30 and 8:30-6:00, plus guaranteed overtime. Weekly pay and on-site parking are included, with a route to permanent employment for the right candidate.

Key Duties

Pour and handle molten metal safely.

Move and process heavy castings.

Work in a high-temperature foundry environment.

Wear specialist PPE, including fire-resistant clothing.

Follow strict health, safety, and quality procedures.

Operate production equipment safely and efficiently.

Work as part of a skilled team producing world-class aerospace components.

Shift Pattern

Monday to Friday rotating shifts:

6:00am - 1:30pm

1:00pm - 8:30pm

8:30pm - 6:00am

(includes 3 hours guaranteed overtime each night)

Requirements
