Interaction Recruitment is seeking experienced Foundry Operatives to join our client based in Lye. This role is initially temporary with the potential to become permanent following a successful trial period.

Responsibilities of the Foundry Operative:

1. Monitoring equipment and processes to ensure proper functioning for continuous production.
2. Cleaning casting moulds, furnaces, and other equipment used in casting.
3. Inspecting moulds for defects before pouring molten metal.
4. Pouring molten metal into moulds using ladles and hand-operated equipment.
5. Tracking temperature gauges, heating units, furnace flames, etc., to meet melting requirements.

Requirements of a Foundry Operative:

1. Previous experience as a foundry operative.
2. Good attention to detail.
3. Ability to work independently and within a team.
4. Good analytical skills.
5. FLT or overhead crane experience (preferable).

Pay and Hours:

• Monday to Friday, 05:00 AM to 14:00 PM.
• £12.50 per hour standard pay.
• £16.67 per hour after 40 hours.
• £18.75 per hour on Saturdays.
