Oliver Bernard is helping an early-stage technology company in London to hire a Founding (Staff) Software Engineer. You will work closely with the founding team, turning ideas into production-ready software and shaping both the technical foundations and the product.

This high-autonomy role offers equity and exposure to customers, with a broad engineering remit across frontend and backend in a London-based environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years experience with React and TypeScript.
• Backend experience with Node.js or Python.
• Experience in a startup/scale-up with high autonomy.
• Strong communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with AI-enabled products, data-heavy systems or complex B2B software.

Responsibilities

• Turn ideas into production-ready software.
