Job summary

Camascope India, part of the Person Centred Software group, is seeking a founding senior engineer to own from concept to production. You will set technical direction, mentor engineers, and establish standards as the team scales from six upward.

You will design and deliver web applications using C# and .NET, across backend and frontend, while promoting quality, testing, and robust architectures. This role reports to the Engineering Manager and offers growth in a brand-new team.

Qualifications

• This role requires strong commercial experience with C# and .NET.
• Experience building modern web applications across backend and frontend.
• Focus on clean, maintainable, well-tested code.
• Experience in Agile product development environments.
• Solid understanding of software architecture and scalable design.
• Experience with CI/CD and modern development practices.
• Ability to lead technical discussions and mentor others.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain applications using C# and .NET across backend/frontend.
• Lead delivery of complex features and technical projects.
• Set technical direction and establish coding standards for a founding team.
• Collaborate with Product and QA to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Write robust automated tests and promote best practices.
• Review code, mentor engineers, and raise the technical bar as the team grows.
• Contribute to architecture decisions and drive scalability, performance, security, maintainability.
• Leverage modern tooling and AI-assisted technologies to boost productivity.
• Own solutions through full software development lifecycle from design to production.
