Job summary

Vero is looking for a React Native Engineer to join the founding mobile hire in London. You will own mobile from architecture to app store releases, working directly with the founders in a fast-growing startup and helping shape the product roadmap.

Bring strong React Native and TypeScript skills, familiarity with Swift/Kotlin, and a bias for offline-first design. The role includes visa sponsorship and relocation, plus meaningful equity and office meals.

Qualifications

• Shipped a mobile app end-to-end through App Store / Google Play.
• Experience building production-grade mobile apps with React Native and TypeScript.
• Comfort with native iOS/Android fundamentals (Swift/Kotlin).
• Experience in designing offline-first or sync-heavy mobile experiences.

Responsibilities

• Own mobile end-to-end across iOS and Android, from architecture to app store releases on both platforms.
• Build production-grade React Native + TypeScript, dropping into native Swift/Kotlin when needed.
• Design for offline-first use in real-world field conditions—unreliable connectivity, local persistence, sync.
• Sit directly with users to decide what should exist, then build and ship it yourself.
