Job summary

Client Server is seeking a Founding Engineer / Developer (Python API LLM) to join a fast-growing AI start-up in London, with a Cambridge presence. Two days in London and one day in Cambridge each week, with expenses covered and flexible remote work.

You will own the design and development of scalable cloud-native apps, from architecture and backend services to frontend work, CI/CD and Azure deployment, using Python, FastAPI and TypeScript.

Qualifications

• Ownership of software from scratch with rapid iteration.
• Strong Python development and RESTful API design using FastAPI.
• Experience with LLMs and agentic AI; startup mindset and entrepreneurial spirit.

Responsibilities

• Own the design and development of scalable cloud-native applications across the full SDLC.
• Architect backend services and frontend work; manage CI/CD and Azure deployment.
• Influence technical direction and engineering practices with the founding team.
