Bifrost Studios has launched a venture studio that builds FinTech solutions for the global investment industry, including hedge funds, asset managers, and banks. We have partnered with a leading investment research and data firm that has direct access to 55 of the world’s 100 largest investment firms.

This role reports directly to the CEO, a highly successful founder with a background from distinguished ventures and companies like McKinsey and Rocket Internet.

Candidates must be based in Europe.

Tasks

In this role, you will work with cutting-edge technologies to develop products for clients managing trillions of USD in assets.

As the Founding Product Engineer, you will:

• Own the development of FinTech products, focusing on fast iterative processes based on customer feedback
• Maintain technical excellence in the venture studio, staying updated on the latest in LLMs, AI agents, etc.
• Onboard engineering teams to products as they gain traction with customers
• Work within a highly integrated team of product, commercial, and finance experts, representing technology and product development

Requirements

• Full-stack engineer proficient in Python with a track record of building entire products from scratch
• Hacker mentality required
• Familiarity with the cutting edge of LLMs
• Experience leading other engineers (e.g., engineering lead or manager), with the ability to guide teams while staying close to the code
• Experience with a derisked startup journey with access to 55 institutional logos
• Ability to work with top-tier investors and entrepreneurs who have founded more than 30 companies
• Capability to build products that generate alpha in one of the world's largest industries
