Job summary

CodeWall in London is seeking a Security Researcher & Penetration Tester to lead real engagements, research vulnerabilities, attack our own platform and help turn expert tradecraft into scalable AI capabilities.

You’ll work directly with founders, engineers and customers, owning offensive methodology and product direction while shaping a security culture in an early-stage company with a hybrid London setup.

Qualifications

• Significant professional experience in penetration testing, offensive security or vulnerability research.
• Strong expertise in web application security, API security, application security or source-code review.
• Ability to lead complex engagements independently and communicate findings clearly to technical and executive audiences.
• Depth in at least one additional area, such as cloud security, internal networks, AD, CI/CD or software supply chains.
• Excellent vulnerability analysis, problem-solving and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead authorised penetration-testing engagements from scoping through execution, reporting and remediation.
• Test web applications, APIs, cloud environments, enterprise infrastructure and AI systems.
• Validate and triage findings produced by our agents, eliminating false positives and proving real-world impact.
• Penetration-test CodeWall’s platform and infrastructure as our most demanding internal customer.
• Conduct original vulnerability research across authorised targets and open-source software.
• Define new attack techniques, testing strategies and benchmarks for our AI agents.
• Convert your tools, techniques and intuition into capabilities that operate at scale.
• Work directly with technical teams, security leaders and senior customer stakeholders.
• Help establish a world-class offensive-security team and raise the bar for everyone around you.
