Job summary

Generative is seeking a Founding Engineer – ML Systems in London to own the engineering backbone of its Scientific ML platform. This hands-on role requires turning research ideas into scalable training and evaluation systems and shaping the ML infra from the ground up.

You’ll collaborate with researchers and engineers on ML systems, deep learning pipelines, and data workflows, with a focus on GPU performance and scalable solutions for frontier AI projects.

Qualifications

• Experience building, training and optimizing ML models at scale.
• Genuine proximity to ML research with strong engineering depth.
• Experience with CUDA, Triton, torch.compile, custom kernels, distributed training or scientific computing.
