Job summary

Oho Group is seeking a Founding Machine Learning Engineer in London to join an early-stage AI startup. You will own core ML systems from day one, drive experimentation, model development, and deployment, and directly influence both technology and product as the company grows.

You will work closely with the founders, have significant ownership, and the freedom to move quickly in a fast-paced environment at the earliest stage of the company.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years of professional ML experience
• Degree in ML, CS, Math or related field
• Strong Python and software engineering fundamentals
• Experience deploying ML models to production
• Experience in early-stage startups preferred

Founding Machine Learning Engineer required to join an early-stage AI start-up in London, building cutting-edge technology from the ground up and solving real world problems.

This is an opportunity to join at the earliest stage, work closely with the founding team, and take significant ownership over the development of the company's core machine learning systems. You'll have the freedom to experiment, move quickly, and directly influence both the technology and product as the company grows.

You are:

• A Machine Learning Engineer with 1–5 years of professional experience
• Strong academic background, ideally with a degree in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline
• Strong Python programming and software engineering fundamentals
• Experienced developing and deploying machine learning models into production
• Comfortable working across experimentation, model development, evaluation, and deployment
• Excited by the pace, ambiguity, and ownership that comes with an early-stage start-up
• MSc or PhD focused on Machine Learning or a closely related field
• Previous experience within an early-stage AI start-up or high-growth technology company
• Become a Founding Machine Learning Engineer at an early-stage AI company
• Take significant ownership of the core machine learning technology from day one
• Work closely with the founders and directly influence product and technical direction
• Solve challenging machine learning problems with the freedom to experiment and move quickly
• Meaningful equity and genuine long-term ownership
