Job summary

TechTree is seeking a Founding Engineer for Infrastructure & Platform in London at King’s Cross. You will own backend systems, cloud foundations, and multi-tenant security for enterprise-grade AI infrastructure.

Expect founding-team ownership, autonomy, and direct collaboration with leadership on platform evolution. Ideal candidates bring 6+ years of backend and infrastructure ownership, strong TypeScript/Node.js and Terraform experience, and a focus on security, reliability, and compliance in

Qualifications

• 6+ years of backend engineering experience.
• Significant infrastructure ownership in production environments.
• Strong experience with a backend programming language (TypeScript/Node.js preferred).
• Production experience with Terraform and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with containerized production workloads and cloud infrastructure.
• Knowledge of security fundamentals and compliance controls.

Responsibilities

• Build and own backend services across the platform.
• Develop APIs, asynchronous workflows, and core data models.
• Design and maintain cloud infrastructure foundations and IaC with Terraform.
• Design secure multi-tenant isolation across compute, data and network layers.
• Own deployment pipelines and CI/CD infrastructure; build observability systems.
• Establish production on-call practices and enable SOC 2, ISO 27001 compliance.
