Founding Head of Security Operations for AI Infrastructure

Job summary

Radiant in London is seeking a Head of Security Operations to build Radiant's security function from the ground up. This founding role defines strategy, tooling and operating model for security across data centres, compute platform and network fabric.

You will represent Radiant's security posture to customers, work with Commercial, Compliance and Engineering, coordinate risk reporting, testing and audits. A hands-on leader with experience building SOC in scale preferred.

Qualifications

• Hands-on data centre security expertise in large-scale environments.
• Proven track record building a security function or SOC from scratch.
• Experience presenting security to customers and executives.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration with engineering, compliance and sales.
• Experience with risk reporting, audits and security testing.

Responsibilities

• Build and own Radiant's security strategy and policy standards.
• Define roadmap and maturity targets for the SecOps function.
• Create hiring plan and business case for SecOps as it scales.
• Contribute to Trust Center and support customer due diligence and RFPs.
• Represent Radiant on security matters with customers and prospects.
• Audit deployments for alignment with security specs.
• Source, deploy and operate security tooling at Radiant data centres.
• Lead physical, environmental and infrastructure security across DC sites.
• Manage site-level risk: access control, surveillance, vendor access.
• Develop tooling strategy in partnership with CTO and InfoSec.
• Embed security into product delivery without slowing delivery.
• Partner with VP InfoSec on tests, audits and reporting.
• Maintain security culture and training; clear ownership boundaries.
• Own incident response and post-incident reviews; drive resilience.
