Job summary

Auxo Talent in London is seeking a Founding Engineer to own the development of the first voice-AI product, from prototype to production, in a hands-on role alongside the founders.

You will build conversational experiences using LLMs, integrate speech technologies, and shape the product, architecture and engineering culture while focusing on accessibility for older adults.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on software engineering experience.

My client is a stealth voice-AI startup seeking a Founding Engineer to build technology that helps people through natural voice conversations.

This is a hands-on opportunity to work directly with the founders, own development from initial prototype through to production, and shape the product, architecture and engineering culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and launch the company’s first voice-AI product.
• Develop conversational experiences using LLMs and speech technologies.
• Integrate speech-to-text, text-to-speech and real-time audio capabilities.
• Own development across backend services, user interfaces and infrastructure.
• Work closely with the founders to turn user needs into practical product features.
• Test and improve conversational quality, responsiveness and reliability.
• Gather user feedback and iterate, with a focus on accessibility for older adults.
