Job summary

Oho Group in London is seeking a founding engineer to join a cybersecurity startup poised for rapid scale. You’ll own architecture and guide the product from design through production, working closely with the founders.

You will shape systems for a cloud-native security product, tackle reliability and security challenges, and collaborate with a small, highly technical team to steer the technical direction as the company grows.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in C#, Python, Go or Java.
• Ability to work independently and own projects from architecture to delivery.
• Excellent problem-solving and collaborative approach.
• Bonus: Experience with AWS, GCP or Azure.

Founding engineer wanted for an early-stage cybersecurity start-up building technology with real-world impact. The company is at an exciting stage of growth, having recently secured significant investment and is looking to add to their already highly-technical team. This is a great opportunity to join a team as the company begins to scale, as well as have significant influence on the direction of the product. You’ll be working closely with the founders, taking ownership of complex problems from their design all the way through to production.

About you:

• 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering

• The ability to work independently and experience owning project from its architecture through to delivery
• Excellent problem-solving ability and a collaborative approach
• Bonus: Experience with a major cloud platform such as AWS, GCP or Azure
