Job summary

Oho Group in London is seeking a founding engineer to join a cybersecurity startup poised for rapid scale. You’ll own architecture and guide the product from design through production, working closely with the founders.

You will shape systems for a cloud-native security product, tackle reliability and security challenges, and collaborate with a small, highly technical team to steer the technical direction as the company grows.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in C#, Python, Go or Java.
• Ability to work independently and own projects from architecture to delivery.
• Excellent problem-solving and collaborative approach.
• Bonus: Experience with AWS, GCP or Azure.

Responsibilities

• Designing and developing systems for a security-focused, cloud-native product.
• Solving complex engineering problems where reliability, scalability and security are paramount.
• Building across the stack with a backend focus.
• Collaborating with founders to influence technical direction.
