TechTree is building an AI agent layer to fix the $3T insurance market. We’ll ship across the stack—frontend, backend and infrastructure—owning features from idea to production and collaborating with founders to shape how insurers place billions in business.
We are seeking early-career engineers (2–8 years) who can ship from scratch in a startup environment. This is an in-office role in London with equity and a competitive base salary.
The $3T commercial insurance market runs on email threads and spreadsheets. We're building the AI agent layer that fixes this: submission intake, data extraction, insurer outreach, quote comparison. Brokers cover more ground without ripping out their existing systems.
We're in stealth, but already working with 3 of the top 10 global brokers (over $150B combined market cap). Backed by 7-figure funding from top European and American investors.
You'll build across the stack: frontend, backend, infrastructure. Ship product end to end. This isn't a ticket-picker role. You'll figure out what needs building, make architectural decisions, and own features from idea to production. You'll work directly with the founders and see your work shape how hundreds of billions of pounds of insurance gets placed.
Engineers who've built real things. We don't care what language or stack you've used. We care that you can ship, that you've operated with ownership in early-stage or resource-constrained environments, and that you're excited about building from scratch. Startup DNA matters more than domain knowledge. We'll teach you insurance; we can't teach you how to figure things out when nobody's handing you a spec.
We're looking for early-career engineers, ideally with 2 to 8 years of experience.
£70,000-£120,000 base salary plus meaningful equity - founder-level impact should carry founder-level upside
Fully in-office in London
A deliberate hiring process: we take our time because we're asking for the next years of your life, and we want to get it right on both sides
