As a Data Platforms Software Engineer, you will join as a founding member of the Data Platforms team to build infrastructure that makes large-scale data fast, reliable, and useful.

You will work in a small, fast-paced team with frequent releases, tackling 100TB+ data workloads, and collaborating with engineers, modellers, and analysts to empower better energy decisions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years building mission-critical backend systems.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-ownership environments.
• Proficiency in Python with strong testing/automation discipline.
• Experience using AI coding tools.
• Strong teamwork, low-ego, high-initiative.
• Interest in transformation of energy markets and infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Build high-uptime platforms that serve 100TB-1PB data fast and reliably.
• Develop tools and platforms for engineers, modellers, and analysts.
• Be a founding member of the Data Platforms team, shaping culture and technical direction.
