Upplands Brohus is seeking a Founding Engineering Lead for the Data Platform in London with remote options. You will architect and own the end-to-end data platform, guiding engineers across perception and robot learning to deliver scalable, versioned data solutions.

The role starts hands-on and grows into overall technical leadership, driving ingestion, queues, and data delivery systems while aligning with founders on technical strategy and team growth.

Qualificações

• 6–12+ years as a Senior/Staff Engineer, Tech Lead, or hands-on Engineering Manager.
• Proven track record of building, shipping, and maintaining data-heavy production platforms.
• Demonstrated experience leading engineering teams through delivery decisions.
• Active implementation depth - shipped production code in last 2–3 years.

Responsabilidades

• Build resumable, recoverable upload pipelines across global locations with unreliable connections.
• Architect scalable job queues and worker services for video processing and ML workloads.
• Create practical web interfaces for operators to browse recordings and manage tasks.
• Package and export data with full lineage from raw sources.
