Job summary

Prysm is building the AI underwriting engine for private credit and seeks an engineer who can own features across the stack. You will work directly with the CTO on frontend, backend, and the agent layer, delivering capable, auditable AI-driven analyses.

The role emphasizes breadth, fastest learning, and real-money impact—in a hybrid London environment with a senior, founding-team context.

Qualifications

• AI agent expertise with hands-on experience and optimization.
• Strong Python in async, API-driven codebases.
• Full-stack capability across frontend and backend.
• Fast learner; comfortable with evolving stacks.
• Genuine interest in agentic AI and responsible outputs.
• Experience with retrieval, embeddings, and document pipelines.
• Exposure to finance/CRE or similar domains requiring auditability.
• Proven track record shipping in small teams or startups.
• Ownership mindset on live products and equity awareness.

Responsibilities

• Own features from database migrations to frontend rendering.
• Improve document-parsing pipelines and structured data outputs.
• Develop modelling and evaluation agents for cash flows and debt sizing.
• Tune prompts, orchestrate lead/subagent interactions, and improve extraction flows.
• Build an end-to-end evaluation system against ground truth.
