My client are looking for a Founding AI Engineer to join at a pivotal stage. This person will lead the development of LLM-powered systems that transform complex business operations into simple, automated workflows. It’s hands-on, applied AI, built to make a real impact from day one.

What You’ll Be Doing:

1. Architecting and scaling production-ready AI systems focused on automation and insight
2. Building RAG pipelines and intelligent agents that retrieve, summarise, and act on business-critical data
3. Evaluating and integrating open-source, fine-tuned, and proprietary models to deliver the best outcomes
4. Collaborating cross-functionally to turn ideas into usable, scalable features
5. Helping shape the AI engineering culture from the ground up

What They’re Looking For:

1. Strong experience building and shipping NLP or LLM-based systems
2. Deep understanding of how to work with large language models responsibly and effectively
3. Engineering focus—robustness, scalability, and performance are second nature
4. Ability to work across ambiguity and move from 0→1 quickly
5. A product mindset: curious about the user, not just the model

Nice to Have:

1. PhD or MSc in a technical field
2. Experience working with knowledge graphs or stitching together multiple data sources
