Job summary

Bolter is seeking a Founders Associate to join a lean team. You’ll handle strategy, partnerships, fundraising, hiring, and day-to-day decisions that keep a young company moving. This is a generalist operator role with real ownership, often without a playbook, working directly with the GM and leveraging AI agents across the business.

You’ll take ownership of diverse workstreams, drive them to completion, and help shape the company’s foundations as it progresses from validation to growth.

Qualifications

• Experience operating with real ownership in startups or venture-building environments.
• Strong analytical and written communication skills.
• Comfort navigating ambiguity and solving open-ended problems.
• Highly proactive with the ability to own workstreams end-to-end.
• Genuine interest in AI and building companies from the ground up.
• Strong organization and reliability in fast-moving settings.

Responsibilities

• Own workstreams end to end from strategy to execution.
• Support fundraising and investor relations materials and diligence.
• Support partnerships and go-to-market with operators and partners.
• Assist in hiring, from writing role specs to vetting candidates.
• Build processes, trackers and systems to keep a lean team moving.
• Handle unglamorous but essential coordination and ownership tasks.
