Job summary

Growth & Company is seeking a Founders Associate to work directly with our Founder, gaining exposure across the business and delivering for clients and the community.

You’ll help run events, shape content and marketing, support client projects, and keep our network thriving. London-based, early career welcome, with no strict years-of-experience requirement. You will collaborate with senior leaders and engage with leading startups and VCs.

Responsibilities

• Organising and supporting Growth & Company's events ( breakfasts, partnerships).
• Contributing to Growth & Company's marketing and content strategy ( webinars, LinkedIn content, website updates).
• Supporting client projects ( preparing documents, speaking with candidates and partners).
• Helping keep the community and network active ( welcoming new members).

Growth & Company is a consultancy first and a recruiter second. We work with founders and investors to advise them on growth, then hire the teams to deliver it. Our Partner has more than 20 years' experience in marketing and uses that to help clients navigate complex issues - international expansion, team structures, launching new products, and more. We hire from our invite-only community of over 450 senior marketing people from the major startups in London, and have worked closely with the likes of Metaview, ZOE, Dex, DrSquatch, ElevenLabs, Granola, Fyxer and Attio.

We operate very differently to a normal recruiter as:

• 100% of our clients are inbound. We do no sales
• We have done the job before so can offer deep advice to founders, VCs and candidates on marketing. We are a trusted partner
• We run a network of over 450 senior marketing people who we hire from (and hire for)
• We advise clients on wider issues such as how to structure teams, international expansion, remuneration and progression planning
• We have deep expertise in marketing and produce our own events and thought-leadership

We're looking for a Founders Associate to work directly alongside our Founder - getting exposure across the entire company, and playing a key role in delivering for our clients and community. Tasks:

Supporting on Growth & Company’s events

• Organising in-person breakfasts with industry leaders
• Setting the strategy for the year
• Sourcing partners to host co-branded events

Supporting on Growth & Company’s marketing and content strategy

• Ideating and organising webinars. Sourcing the speakers and promoting the event.
• Creating LinkedIn content for the team
• Rebuilding the company website
• Producing thought-leadership content

Supporting on client projects

• Preparing key documents for clients
• Speaking to candidates and partners

Helping keep our community and network running smoothly

• Welcoming new members

Key requirements

• Smart
• Proactive. Side hustles and other evidence of proactivity
• Strong communicator and high EQ. Can build relationships with a variety of different people
• Sense of taste with marketing. What is on and off brand?
• Passion for marketing and startup culture
• Willing to get stuck in - can-do attitude
• Based in London
• No requirement on years of experience - early career welcome
