Job summary

University of Leeds invites applications for a role in the Arts & Humanities Foundation Year within the Lifelong Learning Centre. You will contribute to Level 0 teaching for two modules, delivering lectures, workshops and tutorials, and providing student support and assessment throughout the year.

The post involves flexible teaching delivery on Tuesdays and occasional Thursdays, with opportunities to contribute to academic personal tutorials and module design in a widening-access context.

Qualifications

• Experience of interdisciplinary teaching and supporting learners in HE.
• Ability to contribute to foundation year modules and academic skills development.
• Familiarity with academic personal tutoring and formative assessment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Level 0 modules LLLC0121 Image, Music and Text and LLLC0143 Communications.
• Prepare, deliver, and assess teaching sessions; provide student support.
• Lead workshops, lectures and seminars; contribute to tutorials across the academic year.
