Job Title: Foundation School Director - Midlands Trusts, West Midlands

NHSE is seeking to appoint a Foundation School Director overseeing all Midlands Trusts in the West within the Central Foundation School. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a Foundation Training Programme Director to expand their educational portfolio.

Important: The position is offered on a contract for services basis. Candidates must secure written agreement from their Trust for release from clinical duties corresponding to the specified number of PAs.

Role Responsibilities

1. Accountable to the Postgraduate Dean, focusing on improving learner supervision, assessment, and experience.
2. Engaging faculty and ensuring effective educational outcomes now and in the future.
3. Leading whole workforce transformation, developing multi-professional links, and innovating curriculum delivery and workforce well-being strategies.
4. Leading the School and Education Providers to deliver evolving curricula within a changing service landscape.
5. Collaborating across health and social care sectors to reflect changing service models and deliver an integrated, multidisciplinary workforce.
6. Maintaining clinical practice while fulfilling the role, based in the West Midlands with local knowledge of trusts in the Central School.
