Foundation Pathways Programme Manager (SEND & Pre-16)
Programme Manager Pre-16/SEND (Foundation and Pathways) 37 hours per week. Employed for 52 weeks per year £44,130.70 (BRK 41). Based Weybridge, Surrey. (Maternity Cover 1 year Fixed Term contract)

The Programme Manager will act as a role model for staff; they will demonstrate excellent programme management skills and have an outstanding knowledge of the student experience and teaching, learning and assessment.
About the role:
You will be an excellent teacher, communicator and will support the Director of Faculty with the continuous improvement of teaching and learning and will have a teaching commitment with remission to undertake management duties as required, including:

  • Promote the Colleges ethos and values
  • Teach across one or more of the pathways within the Foundation and Progression Faculty
  • Manage staff within the designated areas including the performance and appraisal processes
  • Ensure all lessons are covered including short-term sickness cover across areas of responsibility
  • Support the Director of Faculty with the programme management cycle within the curriculum area of their responsibility, ensuring high- quality curriculum planning, coordination and delivery.
  • Work with the Director and manage teams in implementing qualification reforms, particularly T-levels where appropriate.

To fulfil the role you will have:
  • Degree or equivalent, relevant professional qualification in one of the Foundation and Progression Pathways areas
  • PGCE/Certificate in Education or equivalent
  • Level 2 in English and Maths
  • Evidence of on-going professional development
  • Assessor or Verifier qualified a distinct advantage
  • Relevant specialist knowledge of SEND
