1 Year Fixed Term, Full Time

Location: Siskin Dental Centre, Norwich, NR2 3TU
Contract: 12-month Fixed Term | Part Time (21 hours/week)
Salary: £38,682 – £46,850 per annum full time equivalent

£26,236 – £48,850 per annum actual

Band: AfC Band 6

Start Date: 1st September 2025

About the Role

As a Foundation Dental Therapist Trainee, you will:

  • Work 2 clinical days per week in practice and attend 1 study day (typically Fridays)
  • Be supported by an Educational Supervisor who will guide your clinical development through tutorials, directly observed procedures, and mentorship
  • Participate in regular study days covering topics such as composite techniques, oral surgery, communication skills, and orthodontics
  • Gain exposure to sedation and general anaesthetic services
  • Build confidence and competence in a non-UDA, patient-focused setting

At the end of the programme, you’ll receive a Certificate of Satisfactory Completion, CPD hours, and a strong foundation for your dental career.

Your Base

You’ll be based at Siskin Dental Centre, a 3-chair practice located in a community hospital near Norwich city centre. The practice is equipped with digital radiography, an OPG machine, and access to sedation and GA services.
