A leading sports organization in England is seeking a motivated coach to support the development and delivery of their Football and Education programme. This part-time role involves working with young athletes to enhance both their football skills and academic outcomes. Candidates must have an FA Level 2 Coaching Qualification and experience coaching young people, as well as outstanding organizational and communication skills.

Job description

Athletes, not only will you be expected to support the students' athlete development, but you will also work with the Head Coach to develop the relationship with the school. You will collaborate with the Head Coach to identify appropriate exit routes for students upon completing their second year of the programme.

You must have experience coaching football to young people aged 16-19 and hold an FA Level 2 Coaching Qualification. Ideally, candidates will have relevant qualifications and experience in goalkeeper coaching or strength and conditioning.

You should possess a first-class work ethic and a forward-thinking approach to ensure all students achieve their desired outcomes. An enhanced DBS check is required. A full, driving license and the ability to travel independently are necessary; a D1 license is highly beneficial.

The role is contracted for 10 hours per week, spread across five days, supporting the Football & Education programme. Additional hours may be required to support other areas of the foundation.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated coach to join the Foundation team, supporting the development, coordination, and delivery of the Football and Education programme at a secondary school in Raynes Park.

You will support the Head Coach during training sessions and match days in the 2025/26 season, working closely to help students have a successful season. You will also serve as a positive role model, supporting both football and academic development.

When required, you will lead training sessions and match days for our 'Football & Education teams', which involves good organization skills to plan high-quality sessions aligned with the Head Coach's schedule. Excellent communication skills are essential to engage and motivate the students.
