An established industry player is seeking a dedicated educator to deliver Foundation Apprenticeship programs across various schools in Aberdeenshire. This role involves providing quality education and support to students, while fostering collaboration within the school community. The successful candidate will play a vital role in enhancing the learning experience and ensuring adherence to national standards. To deliver programs of learning in appropriate Foundation Apprenticeship subject areas to groups of students, in accordance with the national Scottish Qualification Agency (SQA) and Skills Development Scotland (SDS), by providing support, guidance, and advice to service users, Council staff, and local companies as part of the wider Foundation Apprenticeship team.
Working with the Foundation Apprenticeship Team in various schools throughout Aberdeenshire, delivering quality education to assigned pupils and contributing within a collegiate ethos to the professional life of the school in relation to pupils, staff, and appropriate external bodies within the agreements of the local Negotiation Committee for Teachers and the Scottish Negotiating Committee for Teachers.
There is a responsibility for the post holder to demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the organisation.
Fixed term for a period not exceeding 01/05/2026.
