Job summary

Neath Port Talbot Council is seeking a Foundation Apprentice in the Strategic Property & Valuation Management Department at the Baglan Bay Innovation Centre. The role offers 37 hours per week within a 15-month fixed-term contract, with duties including general office tasks and data entry as part of a busy team.

You will work towards a Level 2 NVQ in Business Administration, with opportunities for training and development, under a hybrid working approach in some roles and a generous benefits

Qualifications

• GCSEs A-C including English or Welsh and Maths or equivalent qualifications.
• Willingness to work towards a Level 2 NVQ Qualification in Business Administration.

Responsibilities

• General office duties such as photocopying and filing.
• Answering telephone and email queries; passing on messages.
• Arranging meetings for senior officers; data input and retrieval from management information systems.
